BETSY MARY MACKENZIE KETELBEY T/AS BETSY WESTCOTT is Authorised Representative 001308005 of MONEYSHERPA PTY LIMITED (“Money Sherpa”, ABN 32 164 927 708). Money Sherpa holds Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) No. 451289 and has authorised me to provide general financial product advice and to arrange and deal in a range of financial products.
This means that when I provide you with factual information or general advice about financial products and services, I do so as their representative.

The purpose of this document
This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is designed to help you understand the services that I am authorised to provide and to help you decide whether you wish to use the services I offer.
It outlines:
the services and types of financial products that I am authorised to provide to you
how I am paid for the services I provide
any associations, interests or relationships that might influence the services I provide
how you can provide feedback on my services or get help if you have a problem.
Money Sherpa has authorised me to distribute this FSG.
My services
Betsy Westcott exists to help individuals transform their relationship with money and expand their capacity to create long-term, sustainable wealth.
My goal is to help you understand your unique thoughts, feelings and beliefs around money and how these may impact your financial wellbeing. I also support you to build financial capability and confidence so that you can make better financial decisions.
During the coaching experience I may provide personalised coaching, education and behavioural support in relation to your money psychology and financial behaviours. This is designed to help you build financial capability, strengthen your confidence when making financial decisions and reduce self-sabotaging financial behaviours.
When it comes to specific financial products or classes of financial products, any recommendation, opinion or commentary I express will be general in nature only and will not take into account your personal circumstances.
If you require professional advice tailored to your specific needs, please consult a licensed financial adviser.
I am authorised to provide general advice and deal in the following financial products:
deposit products
debentures
shares
bonds issued or proposed to be issued by a government
life insurance products
managed investment schemes (including investor directed portfolio services)
retirement savings account (RSA) products within the meaning of the Retirement Savings Accounts Act 1997
securities (including ETFs)
superannuation.
I do not provide personal financial product advice, and therefore you will not receive a Statement of Advice (SoA) from me.
Costs and Conflicts
Neither Betsy Westcott nor Money Sherpa is owned by fund managers, insurers or banks, so the services provided are not directly influenced by product manufacturers.
However, we are a commercial enterprise and may receive remuneration from product issuers from time to time for services provided, such as workshops, content or educational programs.
We may also receive remuneration for referring you to a product issuer or advice provider.
Any payment I receive is paid by the relevant issuer or provider from their own resources and is not a direct fee charged to you unless otherwise disclosed.
Protecting your Privacy
The privacy of your personal information is important to me and I respect your confidentiality. I will not ask you for information I do not reasonably require, although I may collect personal information from you in the course of providing services.
You have the right not to provide personal information requested by me, but this may affect the usefulness or effectiveness of the information or services you receive.
Any personal information I collect or receive will be handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.

I will endeavour to deal with your complaint promptly, thoroughly and fairly.

If your concern is not resolved, you may contact the Money Sherpa complaints officer:

Step 3 – External Dispute Resolution
If you are still not satisfied, you may contact our external dispute resolution scheme.
The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) is an independent and impartial external dispute resolution scheme approved by ASIC.
Money Sherpa’s AFCA member number is 34698.
You may contact AFCA at any time, although they may require you to wait until our internal complaints process has been completed before considering your complaint further.

If your complaint relates to a product or service acquired through a third party (for example, a lender or product issuer), I may ask you to contact the relevant third party so they can deal with your complaint under their own complaints handling process.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
I have the benefit of a Professional Indemnity Insurance policy maintained by Money Sherpa which meets ASIC’s requirements.
